Choose a room
Use the settings button to set your display name once on this device and choose a room. If you have not added a one-click reach link yet, the app asks for one before publishing availability.
The basic idea
Open a short window so people know how to reach you.
Everyone with the same room link sees the same live board. No accounts are needed. Available means what you are open to now; visible means how long your card stays on the board.
Signal availability
Pick what you are available for, such as a quick hello, phone call, FaceTime/video, drive-time call, or async text. Choose 1:1 or speakerphone/group.
Set the timing
Set the suggested conversation length separately from how long your card remains visible. Add a visible conversation note, then use Preview my card to inspect what eligible viewers can see.
Close the window
Use Stop sharing when you are no longer free. When someone taps a reach button on your card, it opens the app but does not remove you; they decide whether to mark you busy afterward.
Commenting on the interface
Hypothes.is is enabled on the app page. Open the Hypothes.is sidebar or select text on the interface to leave comments and suggestions.
